Tournament "First Step to Mastery"

The tournament is ideal for people for whom it will be the first chess tournament in their lives, as well as for slightly more experienced players who want to get the 5th or 4th chess category!
NOTE! A person playing for the first time in a tournament for chess categories has a PZSzach rating of 1000.
System and Time Control
The tournament is intended for players with a PZSzach rating of 1000-1200.
- System: Swiss, 5 rounds
- Time control: 30 minutes per player
- Possibility to obtain: 5th or 4th chess category
Schedule (13.12.2025)
- 08:30 – 09:20: Confirmation of participation
- 09:20 – 09:30: Technical briefing
- 09:30: Start of the tournament (subsequent rounds played on a "round after round" basis)
- approx. 13:30: Closing ceremony and prize giving

Prizes and Other Information
Each participant receives material prizes or gifts!
Children participating in the tournament can be left under our care. The regulations of the Polish Chess Federation apply in the tournament. Supporters are not allowed in the playing hall. The organizer reserves the right to admit players who do not meet the rating and age criteria to the tournament.
