The main event of the festival with the opportunity to score international title norms. Grandmasters (GM) play free of charge. Players are assigned by FIDE rating, with no choice of group.
A tournament for ambitious amateurs and juniors. Classical time control, FIDE rated, cash prizes and special categories. Players are assigned by FIDE rating, with no choice of group.
The OPEN A and OPEN B playing hall is at Park Hotel Diament Wrocław. With the code CHESS you book a room 20% below the hotel rate (stays 10–21 December, online or at the reception).
A one-day blitz tournament on the festival's final weekend. Open to everyone who knows the rules of chess.
A children's tournament opening this year's Wroclaw Chess Festival.
